Useful Camelot Filly Draws Clear To Maiden Victory
Beeley (3f Camelot – Pilsley, by Lope De Vega) made all to run out an impressive winner of the mile-and-a-half novice stakes at Ffos Las on Thursday afternoon.
Runner-up on all but one of her previous starts, the John and Thady Gosden-trained filly was sent off favourite under Kieran Shoemark. Travelling well with three furlongs left to race, she was asked to quicken a furlong later and drew clear to score by five lengths.
The daughter of Camelot is owned and bred by the Duke Of Devonshire.
