Vadamos Filly Continues Where She Left Off

Ballintoy Harbour (3f Vadamos - Fingal Nights, by Night Shift) recorded her second win for connections when making a successful seasonal return at Newcastle on Tuesday evening.

Fourth on debut in July, the Paul Midgley-trained bay ran out a smart winner next time out, but had been absent since then. She led from early-on under Graham Lee and was shaken up approaching the final furlong, running on well to win by a length and a quarter.

Bred by Tally-Ho Stud, the half-sister to Stakes performer Moonlit Garden comes from the first crop of Vadamos, who moved to Grange Stud in 2021. As a Group 1 Prix du Moulin winner by Monsun, Vadamos boasts a similar profile to Maxios.
