Vadamos Filly Races Clear To Maiden Win

Luisa Casati (3f Vadamos - La Marchesa, by Duke Of Marmalade) relished conditions at Lingfield on Monday, when running out a clear winner of the fillies’ novice stakes over ten furlongs.

Racing on soft ground for the first time, the Tom Ward owned and trained bay was sent off favourite under Hector Crouch. Chasing the leader for much of the way, she was pushed along to lead approaching two furlongs out and was soon ridden clear, going on to score by five lengths, the field strung out behind her.

From the first crop of Grange Stud recruit Vadamos, Luisa Casatu was bred by Mark Dixon and Mount Coote Estates.
