Walk In The Park Mare Bounces Back

That’s Nice (5m Walk In The Park – Bloody Mary, by Fragrant Mix) bounced back to form at Warwick on Monday, to take her record to three wins from four career starts.

The debut winner of a four-year-old maiden for Derek O’Connor, the JP McManus-owned mare made a winning rules debut for Nicky Henderson and enjoyed a form boost when the runner-up landed a listed race. Disappointing next time out, she was sent off favourite to bounce back in the mares’ novices’ hurdle over two miles and three furlongs and raced prominently throughout under Nico de Boinville. Produced to challenge at the second last, she led after the final flight and went on to score by a length and a quarter.
