Walk In The Park Mare Outclasses Rivals In Maiden Hurdle

Talented bumper mare Mullenbeg (5m Walk In The Park - Oscars Joy, by Oscar) gained an impressive first win over hurdles at Plumpton on Monday.

The daughter of Walk In The Park won her first two starts for Milton Harris last season, including at Listed level at Cheltenham, and returned to place on her first two starts over hurdles. Sent off favourite as she dropped back to two miles, she raced prominently under Harry Cobden and asserted on the turn for home. Shaken up approaching the final flight, she drew clear to win by ten lengths.

Bred by Peter Magnier and Margaret Mullins, Mullenbeg was sourced by Harris after placing on both her starts between the flags for Eoin Doyle.
