Walk In The Park Newcomer Justifies Favouritism At Loughanmore
Lets Mingle (4m Walk In The Park – Thessalienne, by Saint des Saints) justified strong market support to make a winning debut in the four-year-old mares maiden at Loughanmore on Saturday.
The Denis Murphy-trained newcomer was sent off favourite under Jack Hendrick and raced in midfield for much of the way. Making good headway from two out, she was ridden to lead from the final fence and kept on well to beat Lyle View (Mahler) by three parts of a length. The pair drew seven lengths clear of the third.
A trip to the sales is now on the cards for Lets Mingle, who was bred by James Luttrell. The daughter of Walk In The Park provides an important update for her yearling brother by Santiago.
