Well Bred Camelot Filly Gets Off The Mark On Return
The James Tate-trained Prioritise (3f Camelot - Penny Post, by Green Desert) built on a fine second last time out to win the Fillies’ Novice Stakes at Wolverhampton on Saturday.
Beaten just half a length over course and distance in December, the Saeed Manana-owned bay chased the leader for much of the way under Callum Shepherd and led approaching the two furlong pole. Ridden out, she held the fast-finishing Nell Quickly (The Gurkha) by a length and a quarter on the line.
The improving daughter of Camelot was bred by Tullamaine Castle Stud and Miznah Bloodstock out of a three-parts sister to top-class two-year-olds Blue Duster and Zieten.
