Kings Harlequin (Camelot) Wins The Listed Prix Roland De Chambure at Longchamp

Well Bred Camelot Filly Lands Listed Contest

King’s Harlequin (2f Camelot - Swift Action, by Invincible Spirit) proved herself a progressive filly when taking the Listed Prix Roland de Chambure at Longchamp on Tuesday.

A close third on both her previous starts, the Nicolas Clement-trained bay faced three unbeaten fillies on her step up to Stakes company. Stephane Pasquier took the ride, positioning his mount towards the back of the field for most of the seven furlong contest and asked her to quicken two furlongs from home. Running on strongly, she led close home to win by half a length on the line.

The Sam Sangster-owned filly was bred by Edmund Loder and continues a fine run of form for her family. Her dam Swift Action is closely related to Bee Eater, whose daughter Minaun (Zoffany) won the Group 3 Marble Hill Stakes earlier this month.
