Well Bred Son Of Australia Impresses On Debut

The Francois Rohaut-trained Nuit De Feu (3c Australia - Almase, by Giant’s Causeway) shaped like a smart prospect when running out a clear winner at Tarbes on Sunday.

Breaking well from an outside draw, the Al Asayl homebred made most of the running in the extended mile and a half contest. Quickening before the turn for home, he was ridden from two furlongs out and ran on strongly to win by four and a half lengths under Valentin Seguy.

Nuit De Feu is out of a full-sister to multiple Graded winner Naissance Royale (Giant’s Causeway).
