The future looks bright for Mister Bo (6g Getaway - Borleagh Princess, by Presenting) after making a winning debut in Saturday’s bumper at Fairyhouse.

Chasing the leaders under Ben Harvey, Pat Doyle’s newcomer was asked to quicken after the two furlong marker and led inside the final furlong. Keeping on well, he scored by three parts of a length on the line.

Speaking after the race, the winning rider said, “Mister Bo is a lovely horse. He's still raw and very, very big and covers a lot of ground.”

Owned by Mrs Mary Doyle, the half-brother to Thyestes Chase winner Monbeg Notorious (Milan) was bred by John and Miriam Murphy.
