Younevercall scores on hurdling debut for Yeats

Younevercall (4g Yeats-Afarka, by Kahyasi) looks a hurdler to follow this season after easily winning his first start over obstacles at Uttoxeter on Sunday. The Yeats gelding, now trained by Kim Bailey, had changed hands after winning a bumper comfortably for trainer Tom Lacey in April. He took this hurdle by three lengths and the Racing Post commented: “Younevercall won a bumper on his last start at Southwell in April and was well backed to make a winning hurdling debut on his first start for his new yard.
