11-length bumper win for Ask

Former point-to-pointer Forgot To Ask (5g Ask-Lady Transcend, by Aristocracy) looked a five-year-old with a future when scoring on his Rules debut at Chepstow on Saturday.

Trained by Tom George, the Ask five-year-old – who was bred by Patrick Hayes – surged past his rivals to score by 11 lengths.

The Racing Post Analysis stated: “An informative bumper and much to like about the performance of the well-supported winner, who came home in splendid isolation.

FORGOT TO ASK won this impressively and followed in the footsteps of subsequent Grade 1 hurdles winner The Worlds End, who took this last year for the same trainer…. He settled matters quickly and in the style of a well above-average recruit.”
