Easy win for Scorpion son Casual Approach

Casual Approach (Scorpion) winning a maiden hurdle at Limerick

Casual Approach (6g Scorpion-Lead´Er Inn, by Supreme Leader) looked another classy representative for Scorpion when winning a Limerick maiden hurdle on Wednesday for trainer Gordon Elliott.

The six-year-old, bred by Philip and Mrs P Heaney, made all the running to win by three and a quarter lengths and Elliott sees the son of Scorpion as a bright chasing talent.

“He’s a nice horse and we decided to let him win his maiden hurdle now as he’s going chasing next season,” Elliott told irishracing.com  “It’s nice to train a winner for Michael Earls, the boss of Easyfix, and it’s more special given these are Easyfix hurdles! We might try for one novice hurdle in England or Ireland before he is left off.”
