Offered on behalf of breeders Bayne and Christina Welker, the filly is a half-sister to multiple graded stakes winner and Grade I placed Travel Column and multiple Grade I placed Neolithic. They are out of the multiple stakes winning Swingit, who has produced six winners from eight to race and is one of five winners out of her own dam. This filly’s fourth dam is the champion Carnauba, who also produced stakes winner Valid Carnauba and multiple stakes performers.

Uncle Mo was also the sire of a $525,000 colt purchased by John Kimmel and Nick Sallusto on behalf of Sean Flanagan.

Offered by Four Star Sales, the colt is a full brother to Kerouac – who has won both his starts this year. The colt is also a half-brother to Grade I placed Anneau d’Or and out of the Grade III winner Walk Close. That mare is a daughter of multiple stakes winner and Grade I placed Spring Awakening.

Bred by Lochlow Farm and Ashford Stud, the colt’s page includes six stakes winners under his first four dams and seven additional stakes horses.

The colt's dam Walk Close foaled a Practical Joke colt in May this year.

Uncle Mo has one on offer next week at the Fasig-Tipton New York-Bred Yearlings Sale, a filly out of a Grade III winning half-sister to multiple graded stakes winner La Verdad.
