$600,000 for Grade I Placed Mare In Foal to Justify
Grade I-placed Fuhriously Kissed proved to be another popular offering in-foal to Justify on Tuesday at Fasig-Tipton's November Sale when the mare sold for $600,000.
Bought by Ina Bond from the Denali Stud consignment, Fuhriously Kissed is carrying her first foal on a March 10th cover after a successful racing career that saw the 6-year-old Langfuhr mare win or place in 11 of her starts, including the Grade I Apple Blossom.
Fuhriously Kissed also has a blacktype rich pedigree as one of three winners out of stakes winning French Kiss, a half-sister to two graded stakes winners, including Grade I winner On Fire Baby, while another half-sister has produced two stakes horses.
Fuhriously Kissed is the latest in an big night for Justify, whose first in-foal mares have proven popular with buyers at this year’s Fasig-Tipton November sale.
