$625,000 Colt Leads Way for Munnings In Book 2

A $625,000 colt was the most expensive Munnings yearling during the second book of the Keeneland September Yearling Sale when purchased by Corbin Blumberg and Monique Delk.

The colt is the first foal out of Bernardini mare Baby Sea, who is a half-sister to Grade III-placed Improve and stakes placed Girl Talk. The trio is out of Grade II winner One Caroline, who is one of two stakes performers out of stakes winner Powder. Powder is also the dam of multiple stakes winner Master Fencer and stakes winner Top Divo.

This is also the family of Grade I winner Jovite and Grade II winners Lac Ouimet and Salem Drive among others.

TIB bought the most expensive Munnings filly of Book 2 when going to $375,000 for the daughter of Nutcracker Suite from Runnymede.
