Another Stakes Success for Heitai

Improving gelding Heitai (4g Fusaichi Pegasus x Sparkles of Luck, by Mr Sparkles) claimed another Black Type win in the $60,000 Costa Rising Stakes at Fair Grounds on the weekend. Trained by Karl Broberg, Heiti raced away to win the five and a half furlong sprint by two and three-quarter lengths, his overall record now five wins from 15 starts with prizemoney topping $274,000. Heitai is a half-brother to stakes-placed Muffin and is the best of three winners from stakes-winner Sparkles of Luck.
