Ashford Sires Popular
The Jockey Club in North America have released their Report of Mares Bred (RMB) statistics for the 2012 breeding season with three of the busiest sires based at Ashford Stud.
A multiple Group I winning son of champion sire Sadlers Wells, Cape Blanco led all stallions with 220 mares bred and is currently in New Zealand where he is shuttling to Cambridge Stud.
Also in the top five busiest sires were Scat Daddy, who covered 217 mares and Uncle Mo, who covered 211 and is in Australia covering a stellar book of mares in his first Australian season at stud.
