Brilliant Debut Winner for Tale of the Cat

In recent years Tale of the Cat has been represented a by a string of brilliant fillies and looks to have another on the rise in Storied Tale (2f Tale of the Cat x Caminadora, by More Than Ready), who looked ultra-impressive when winning on debut at Aqueduct on Thursday. Prepared by Wesley Ward, Storied Tale jumped fast and travelled sweetly in the lead before coasting home to win the four and a half furlong scamper by six and a quarter lengths. A modest $27,000 Keeneland September Yearling purchase, Storied Tale runs for Gainesway Stable and is the first winner for Grade III winner Caminadora.
