Lookin At Lucky Paddock Shot

Coolmore Sires Trifecta Chilean Grade One

Shuttling to South America has proven a great success for former Champion US Two and Three Year Old Lookin at Lucky, who sired El Picaro (3c Lookin at Lucky x La Sinverguenza by Scat Daddy) to win the Grade I Clasico Polla de Potrillos at Club Hipico de Santiago beating John Sunday and Teremoto, a pair of colts by Holy Roman Emperor.

Trained by Patricio Baeza, El Picaro powered clear to win the 1700 metre turf classic by more than five lengths. El Picaro has four wins and a second from just five starts and this was his second Grade I victory.

El Picaro is from unraced La Sinverguenza, a full sister to Scat Daddy’s Champion 2YO Filly and Grade I winner Cimalta and half-sister to triple Grade I winner El Farrero.
