Debut Win for Faretti

Promising colt Faretti (3c Tale of the Cat x Good Witch Glinda, by Unbridled’s Song) opened his career with a strong finishing win at Gulfstream. Prepared by Christophe Clement, Faretti was a tad slow to begin and settled at the rear before circling the field and charging home to win the five furlong maiden by a nose on the wire. A $125,000 purchase from the Keeneland September Yearling Sale, Faretti runs for Jon and Sara Kelly and is the first winner for Good Witch Glinda, whose dam is a sister to Grade I winner and sire End Sweep.
