First Aussie Stakes Performer Uncle Mo
A sire sensation in North America, Uncle Mo looks to have a very nice filly in Australia with Moqueen (2f Uncle Mo x Money Begets Money, by Bite the Bullet) finishing a close third in the Group II ATC Reisling Stakes at Randwick on Saturday.
Fourth on debut in a strong maiden event last month, the Anthony Cummings trained Moqueen matched strides with the class fillies to be beaten just on a length in the 1200 metre sprint behind French Fern and Quick Feet.
A $47,000 Magic Millions purchase from the Coolmore draft, Moqueen comes from the family of $7 million earner Criterion and countless stakes horses so looks to have a very bright future.
