Heitai Goes on His Winning Way

Talented gelding Heitai (5g Fusaichi Pegasus x Sparkles of Luck, by Mr Sparkles) scored another feature win when taking out the $100,000 LA Bred Premier Night Sprint at Delta Downs on the weekend.

Trained by Thomas Amoss, Heitai surged clear to win the five furlong sprint by two and three-quarter lengths.

The overall record for Heitai is now 13 wins from 28 starts with prizemoney topping $883,000.

A remarkably consistent sprinter, Heitai is a half-brother to stakes-placed Muffin and is the best of three winners from stakes-winner Sparkles of Luck.
