Stakes-placed Hence proved to be another popular offering in-foal to Champion Justify on Tuesday at the Fasig-Tipton November Sale when the mare sold for $900,000 to Newtown Investments from the Eaton Sales consignment.

Bred on a March cover, the 4-year-old Irish-bred mare was Grade III placed in Ireland in addition to three other stakes placings.

Boosting a strong pedigree in addition to her race record, Hence is a full sister to three-time Group I winner Alice Springs in addition to three other stakes horses while their dam Aleagueoftheirown was also stakes placed on the track.

Triple Crown winner Justify proved popular with breeders during his first season and is proving just as popular with buyers with his first in-foal mares averaging $639,093 at the Fasig-Tipton November Sale
