Impressive Debut for Uncle Mo Filly
Talented filly Miss Gracer (3f Uncle Mo x Ten Halos, by Marquetry) opened her account with a sparkling debut victory at Delaware Park on Wednesday.
The Michael Stidham trained filly was favourite for the six furlong maiden and gave nothing else a chance when bounding clear to win by six and three-quarter lengths.
Miss Gracer is the fourth winner for stakes-placed Ten Halos and is a three-quarter sister to Grade III winner Cinco Charlie, an eight time winner of over $600,000 by Uncle Mo’s sire Indian Charlie.
This family has been highly successful with Indian Charlie, also producing Grade II winners Bwana Charlie and My Pal Charlie, so there will be expectation Miss Gracer can add Black Type to her name in the future.
