Justify’s First Foal Arrives at Amaroo Farm

The newest chapter of Triple Crown winner Justify’s storied career has started, with Foreign Affair foaling a bay filly by the undefeated Horse of the Year on Friday night!

Born at Amaroo Farm in Kentucky for Audley Farm, the filly is the first foal for the winning Exchange Rate mare Foreign Affair.

“She’s got great bone and plenty of leg, a quality first foal for the mare. We couldn’t be happier,” said Audley Farm’s Jamie McDiarmid.

Foreign Affair is a half-sister to dual-Grade III winner and five-time Group I-placed So Perfect and Listed-placed Scat Eddie. Their winning dam Hopeoverexperience is a half-sister to Grade II winner Cowtown Cat.

With his first book including 41 Grade I winners, Justify bred the most Grade I winning mares of any North American sire in 2019 and is posed to follow in fellow Triple Crown winner and Champion Freshman sire American Pharoah’s footsteps in 2022.
