Lady Desire scores in Britain for Lookin At Lucky
Lookin At Lucky’s first crop has made a superb first start in the US and Lady Desire (2f Lookin At Lucky-Princess Desire, by Danehill) brought him more glory at Haydock in Britain on Friday night.
The Keith Dalgleish-trained filly overcame top-weight in a nursery to win the six-furlong contest by three and a half lengths and she could now try to gain black-type.
Dalgleish’s father John told the Racing Post: “She´s progressing well and has beaten some decent horses. Phillip (Makin) said she gave him a lovely feel and Keith will have her future targets mapped out.”
A half-sister to the Listed-placed Mappa Mundi (by Henrythenavigator), Lady Desire holds an entry in the Listed Two-Year-Old Trophy at Redcar.
