More Grade I Success for Lookin at Lucky

Shuttling to South America has proven a great success for former Champion US Two and Three Year Old Lookin at Lucky, who sired outstanding colt El Picaro (3c Lookin at Lucky x La Sinverguenza by Scat Daddy) to win the Grade I Clasico National Ricardo Lyon on Sunday at Club Hipico in Chile.

Trained by Patricio Baeza, El Picaro scored a dominant two and three-quarter length win in the 2000 metre turf contest beating Nombar (3c Mastercraftsman x LaNimbar, by Stormin’ Fever).

El Picaro has five wins and a second from just six starts and this was his third Grade I victory.

El Picaro is from unraced La Sinverguenza, a full sister to Scat Daddy’s Champion 2YO Filly and Grade I winner Cimalta and half-sister to triple Grade I winner El Farrero.
