More Stakes Success for Uncle Mo's Abiding Star
Still going strong as a six year-old, Abiding Star (6g Uncle Mo x Abiding, by Dynaformer) took out the $100,000 Neshaminy Stakes at Parx Racing on Monday.
Trained by Edward Allard, Abiding Star scored a neck win in the seven and a half furlong turf sprint taking his overall record to 12 wins and nine placings from 40 starts with earnings in excess of $560,000.
Abiding Star is the best of three winners from unraced Dynaformer mare Abiding, a half-sister to the dam of Grade II winner Two Trail Sioux.
Already a stakes-winner and Grade III placed, Abiding Star is one of 51 stakes-winners worldwide for outstanding sire Uncle Mo, who has some sensational yearlings to be offered at Keeneland September.
