The winners keep coming for promising young sire Munnings with smart filly Ja Quellin (2f Munnings x Loyal American, by Quiet American) scoring a resounding win at Hollywood Casino on the weekend.

A homebred for Stoneleigh Farm prepared by Stephanie Beattie, Ja Quellin improved sharply on her unplaced debut, jumping straight to the front before surging right away to win the six and a half furlong maiden by 10 and a half lengths.

A half-sister to stakes-placed El Gran Sol from the good producer Loyal American, Ja Quellin is the 13th first crop winner for brilliant sprinter Munnings.
