Cahiers Den (Idaho) Wins The 4 Yo Maiden At Ballindenisk

New Four-Year-Old Winner For Idaho At Ballindenisk

Cahier’s Den (4g Idaho – Caballo Sin Nombre, by Bandari) continued Idaho’s promising start at stud when winning the four-year-old geldings maiden at Ballindenisk on Sunday.

The Gearoid O’Loughlin owned and trained chesnut made a promising debut at Durrow in March, as he raced in second when falling at the final fence. Reunited with Bertie Finn at Ballindenisk, he chased the leaders for much of the way and improved into second approaching the final fence. He kept on well on the run-in to win by two lengths, with another two and a half lengths back to promising newcomer Pookie Holler (Getaway) in third.

Bred by J Robinson and L Byrne, Cahier’s Den hails from the first crop of Beeches Stud sire Idaho.
