Second Stakes Win for Uncle Mo Colt

The Jerry Hollendorfer trained colt Galilean (2c Uncle Mo x Fresia, by El Prado) made it two wins from three starts when taking out the $100,000 King Glorious Stakes at Los Alamitos on Sunday.

He made a winning debut in the $100,000 Los Alamitos Barretts Juvenile Stakes back in September and was only narrowly beaten at his next start in a stakes race at Santa Anita.

Sent out favourite for this one mile contest, Galilean was a class above his rivals, bolting home to win by nine lengths.

The $600,000 sale-topper at April’s Barretts Spring Sale of Two-Year-Olds in Training, Galilean is the first winner for Fresian, a half-sister to Grade III winner His Race to Win.
