Second Win for Neatie the Cat

Speedy three year-old Neatie the Cat (3g Tale of the Cat x Neatie, by Alydeed) made it two wins in as many starts when scoring at Saratoga on Saturday. The Eddie Kenneally trained gelding caught the eye when bolting in by more than seven lengths on debut at the same venue last month and was expected to be winning again. He jumped well from a wide draw and carved out fast fractions before holding on to win the five and a half furlong dash by a nose. A homebred for Anstu Stables, Neatie the Cat is the third winner for Neatie, a half-sister by Alydeed to Grade III winner Mayflower Miss.
