Second Win for Luminance

Given TDN Rising Star status for her debut win at Del Mar last year, promising filly Luminance (3f Tale of the Cat x Siren Serenade, by Unbridled’s Song) kept her unbeaten record intact when winning at Santa Anita on Saturday. A $320,000 Keeneland September purchase, the Bob Baffert trained filly was forced to race wide and without cover for much of the one mile allowance, but still proved too good in scoring by a short head. Luminance is the first winner for Siren Serenade, a half-sister to Grade I Breeders Cup Juvenile Turf winner George Vancouver from four-time Grade I winner Versailles Treaty.
