Stone Farm-Bred Filly Fetches $250,000 for Air Force Blue

An Air Force Blue filly out of Secret Agenda brought $250,000 from Eclipse Thoroughbred Partners on Monday at the Keeneland September Yearling Sale when purchased from Air Force Blue’s breeder, Stone Farm.

The third most expensive yearling by any stallion with first crop runners in 2020, the Stone Farm-bred is the second foal out of Malibu Moon’s Secret Agenda. That mare is a daughter of champion and dual Grade I winner Smuggler, who herself is a daughter of champion and six-time Grade I winner Inside Information.

Inside Information is also the granddam of Grade II winner and sire Gone Astray and Grade III-placed Contentious.

This filly is bred on the same War Front x A.P. Indy granddaughter cross that has produced seven stakes winners and 13 stakes horses from 42 runners, led by Grade II winner Departing.

The sire of five winners of seven races, including Group III-placed Chief Little Hawk, European Champion 2-Year-Old Air Force Blue is among the leading first crop sires in multiple categories in 2020.
