Ten Pin Ally Latest Impressive Winner for Air Force Blue
Ten Pin Ally (3f Air Force Blue x Allyallyincomefree, by Unbridled’s Song) became the 18th winner for Air Force Blue on Wednesday with an impressive performance at Gulfstream Park.
Racing over a mile on the dirt, Ten Pin Ally raced along the rail a few lengths off the lead. The only horse to stick with a runaway leader around the turn, Ten Pin Ally headed that rival as they hit the final two furlongs before taking a clear lead. The filly pulled away from there to win by seven lengths and kick her year off in style.
Trained by Katherine Ritvo for owner-breeder Reeves Thoroughbred Racing, Ten Pin Ally is one of three winners from three to race out of the Unbridled’s Song mare Allyallyincomefree. That mare is a granddaughter of Lassie Connection, a full sister to the dam of Lemon Drop Kid and a three-quarter sister to A.P. Indy.
Ten Pin Alley is the second winner from two runners by Air Force Blue out of an Unbridled’s Song mare alongside multiple stakes placed Chief Little Hawk.
A champion 2-year-old himself, Air Force Blue finished fourth among all freshmen by winners last year to tie with Uncle Mo son Nyquist at 17 each in 2020.
