Ten Pin Ally Strikes at Gulfstream
Ten Pin Ally (3f Air Force Blue x Allyallyincomefree, by Unbridled’s Song) won her second race in three starts this year with an easy four length victory on Wednesday at Gulfstream.
Racing over a mile on the dirt, Ten Pin Ally raced in last for much of the run but easily moved up the rail to put herself just behind the leader as the field turned for home. The leader left a gap along the rail as they raced into the final furlong and Ten Pin Ally lengthened her stride to take advantage.
Slipping through the hole in the final furlong, it was clear sailing from there with Ten Pin Ally galloping home four lengths the best to take her 2021 record to three wins and one third in three starts.
A homebred for Reeves Thoroughbred Racing, the filly is trained by Katherine Ritvo with Rajiv Maragh aboard for this victory.
She is one of three winners from three to race out of her dam and sees Lassie Dear as her fourth dam. Among those under Lassie Dear’s name are influential sire A.P. Indy, classic winners Summer Squall and Lemon Drop Kid, and Grade I winners Court Vision, Duke of Marmalade, Ruler of the World and Bee Jersey.
Air Force Blue’s nine winners in 2021 puts him third by winners with the stallion also standing third by earnings this year.
