Two Out of Three for Saratoga Snacks

Talented colt Saratoga Snacks (3c Tale of the Cat x Near and Dear, by Red Ransom) resumed from nearly a nine month spell on the sidelines to win impressively at Belmont. The Gary Sciacca trained colt won by more than nine lengths at Saratoga last September at his second start and has lost none of his ability. He led and fought on strongly to win the six furlong allowance by two and a quarter lengths. A half-brother to stakes-placed Rajman, Saratoga Snacks is raced by August Dawn Farm and is from Near and Dear, whose dam is a half-sister to Grade I winner Without Feathers.
