Uncle Mo Filly Sells for $625,000 at Fasig-Tipton Midlantic

Solis and Litt went to $625,000 during Monday’s Fasig-Tipton Midlantic May 2-Year-Olds in Training Sale session to purchase an Uncle Mo filly from Pick View LLC as the third most expensive offering of the session.

“She's a beautiful Uncle Mo filly with a big pedigree, out of a Blame mare,” Solis told Thoroughbred Daily News after purchasing her for LNJ Foxwoods and NK Racing. “So for us it made sense from a pedigree perspective and her breeze was phenomenal. I think I gave out three stars for the whole breeze show and she was one of them.”

Bred in Florida by Bridlewood Farm, the filly is the third foal out of the winning Gabriellestoblame. That mare is a half-sister to Uncle Mo’s champion and Grade I Kentucky Derby winner Nyquist. Their dam Seeking Gabrielle is a half-sister to Grade III winner Seeking the Sky, who produced Grade I winner Sahara Sky.

This page also includes Munnings’ stakes winner Miss Alacrity and Justify’s Grade III winner Just Cindy.

Gabriellestoblame has a yearling filly by Uncle Mo as well.

It’s been a big juvenile sale season for Uncle Mo, who also had the third most expensive offering at the Arqana Breeze Up Sale two weeks ago and two $675,000 juveniles at OBS last month.
