Uncle Mo Filly Wins She’s All In Stakes

Famed (3f Uncle Mo x Delightful Quality, by Elusive Quality) became the newest stakes winner for Uncle Mo at Remington Park on Saturday night with a win in the She’s All In Stakes.

The regally bred 3-year-old stalked the pace just a length off the pacesetter in the one-mile stakes as another runner kept the leader honest by pouring on the pressure. Taken wide in the far turn, Famed started rolling and no one was able to stop her momentum from there. She quickly built up her margin after grabbing the lead in mid-stretch and romped home to a 6 ¾ length victory in the end.

The Brad Cox-trained Godolphin homebred has won four of nine starts with four other top three finishes, including one other stakes placing.

Famed is a half-sister to dual champion Essential Quality with the pair being the two winners from three to race from multiple stakes placed Delightful Quality. That mare is a half-sister to Champion 2-Year-Old Folklore, who is also the granddam of Japanese Triple Crown winner Contrail.

The family is strong through the generations with Grade I winner Come Dancing and likely 2022 Champion 2-Year-Old Colt Forte both under Famed’s third dam.

A top racehorse-turned-sire, Uncle Mo is the sire of 86 worldwide stakes winners, led by 46 graded stakes winners. That group incudes 11 Grade I winners with at least one Grade I winner in every crop aged three or older.
