$1.275million Mare to Visit Justify

Winner of the Group III MRC Blue Diamond Preview, blue-blood Exceed and Excel filly Miss Roseiano was purchased by Tom Magnier through Inglis Digital on Tuesday for $1.275million and will be retired immediately in preparation for a first service to Triple Crown winner Justify.

“She’s been bought to go to Justify, the team and I think she’s an ideal match for him both physically and on pedigree,’’ Magnier said.

“She’s from a great family, she was an exciting race filly and Justify could not be going any better, having both the highest rated two-year-old colt and two-year-old filly in Europe in addition to some hugely exciting horses here including [Inglis Millennium winner] Learning To Fly whom we know well.

“It was a pretty intense bidding scenario as it can be on Inglis Digital who always do a great job with this platform, but we were delighted to get her.

“In quite a coincidence, literally as the bidding clock ended, Justify was landing in Australia to cover another hugely exciting book of mares, now including Miss Roseiano, so hopefully there is a positive omen there.’’

Tracing back to the legendary producer Eight Carat, Miss Roseiano is from stakes-placed Special Lover, a grand-daughter of Group I winning blue hen Diamond Lover, the dam of Group I winner Don Eduardo and Tristalove and grand-dam of Group I winners Viscount, Viking Ruler.
