$280,000 for Justify Filly

The first crop of Australian bred weanlings by Triple Crown hero Justify made a great impression at the Magic Millions National Weanling Sale this week with four averaging $182,500.

His top seller on Friday was an athletic chestnut filly from Dom Perion that made $280,000 for River Junction when bought by Sledmere Stud/Cangon Pty Ltd.

The filly has good residual value as a half-sister to Group I VRC Victoria Derby winner Extra Brut.

Justify will return to Australia this spring at a fee of $55,000.
