$550,000 Justify Filly Bred on Magic Cross

There was one yearling bred on the magic Justify x Fastnet Rock cross offered at the 2024 NZB National Yearling Sale and the filly from Fair Isle fetched $550,000 to the bid of Chris Waller Racing/ Mulcaster Bloodstock.

Bred and offered for sale by Pencarrow Stud, the filly is a full sister to this season’s Group III winning filly Star of Justice and is from well related mare Fair Isle, who has had four foals to race all winners.

The Justify x Fastnet Rock cross has produced undefeated two year-old colt Storm Boy, winner of the Magic Millions 2YO Classic, and last season’s outstanding Inglis Millennium winner Learning to Fly, who barrier trialled in sensational fashion at Warwick Farm on Tuesday morning.

Justify had three yearlings average $373,333 to be the second leading sire by average for the sale.
