Bon Ho Buys Justify Colt

Well known Hong Kong based owner Bon Ho has a chance to win a Ferrari with the offspring of Triple Crown hero Justify after his Legend Racing secured the colt from Extra Olives at the Inglis Classic Yearling Sale this week for $150,000.

Bon Ho’s horses usually carry the word Legend in their name and his best runners have included Everest hero Classique Legend, Hong Kong Group I winner Southern Legend and Group III winning mare Madam Legend.

The colt was consigned by Coolmore and is the third foal of Group III placed Redoute’s Choice mare Extra Olives, a grand-daughter of champion filly Alinghi.

Extra Olives had a filly last year by Justify and is now in foal to Pierro.

Group I trainers Ciaron Maher, Gerald Ryan and Mark Kavanagh also came away from Classic with yearlings from the first Australian crop of Justify, who has 10 yearlings entered for the upcoming Inglis Premier Yearling Sale.
