History Made in Australia - First Justify Sold

The first Australian bred yearlings by undefeated Triple Crown winner Justify are being offered at the Magic Millions Yearling Sale this week with Lot 1 from Group III winning I Am Invincible Eckstein selling for $450,000.

A dashing bay colt consigned by Coolmore, he was bought by China Horse Club/Newgate Bloodstock/Trilogy Racing (Jason and Mel Stenning) and is the first foal of his Group I placed dam, who was bought for $750,000 off the track at the 2019 Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale by Tom Magnier / Colm Santry Bloodstock.

Eckstein has multiple Group I winner Canny Lass as her third dam so is from the family of Golden Slipper winners Canny Lad and Sepoy as well as champion 3YO sprinter Bivouac.

Sadly for Coolmore, Eckstein passed away last year with this colt her one and only foal.
