King’s Legacy Colt Sells for $140,000

Exciting young sire King’s Legacy made his presence felt at the Inglis Australian Weanling Sale this week with two weanlings selling for six figures, well above the overall sale average of $52,264.

His top seller was a colt from Tantivy that made $140,000 for Ashleigh Thoroughbreds when secured by Hermitage Thoroughbreds, while a filly from stakes-winner Paprika made $110,000 for Coolmore when bought by J See.

New Zealand based pinhookers Kilgravin Lodge and Carlaw Park also bought colts by King’s Legacy from My Chicharita and Peace Palace (GB) for $85,000 and $80,000.

King’s Legacy has a further 17 weanlings to be offered at Magic Millions on the Gold Coast starting on May 18, click to see them.

The dual Group I winning juvenile stands at a fee of $27,500 this spring.
