King’s Legacy Weanlings Bought by Great Judges
A dual Group I winning juvenile by sire of sires Redoute’s Choice, King’s Legacy was a young sire in demand at the Magic Millions National Weanling Sale this week with seven weanlings averaging $80,143 and three selling for $100,000 or more.
Top seller was his colt from Luiza that made $165,000 for Willow Park Stud when bought by astute pinhooker Jim Carey.
The colts is bred to be up and going early being the third foal from Sydney metro juvenile winner Luiza, a half-sister by I Am Invincible to juvenile stakes-winner Moshki.
His next best result was also bought as a pinhook by great judges Redwall Bloodstock, who secured the colt from Duhallow for $160,000 from Riversdale Farm. He is a half-brother to this season’s juvenile stakes winner Princess Duhallow.
King’s Legacy has had five weanlings sell in Sydney and the Gold Coast for $100,000 or more and stands this spring at a fee of $27,500.
