Magic Mares for Justify

US Triple Crown winner Justify will cover a star studded book of mares in Australia this spring with Coolmore splashing out on a selection of outstanding mares during the first session of the 2019 Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale.

Heading their list of purchases was dazzling I Am Invincible sprinter Invincible Star bought for $1.45 million and dual Group I winner Savvy Coup for $1million, while Eckstein ($750,000), I’ll Have a Bit ($450,000) and Miss Que ($370,000) will also be covered by Justify.

"She was a very good two-year-old who trained on to virtually win the Coolmore to our own $30 million horse Merchant Navy," said bloodstock agent James Bester, who signed for Invincible Star with Tom Magnier.

"She showed herself in every start to be one of the finest fillies in Australia. She's by I Am Invincible from a strong family - a no brainer!

"It was probably a little more than we had expected, but mares of that quality make their money."
