12-length 4yo winner for Soldier Of Fortune
Fabulous filly Hestina (4f Soldier Of Fortune-Diagora, by Highest Honor) enjoyed her third, and most impressive, success over hurdles when winning a novices’ event on Summer National day at Market Rasen on Saturday.
A dual winner on the Flat for trainer Peter Chapple-Hyam, the Soldier Of Fortune filly is now overseen by Dan Skelton and she is set for a return to the level after making all under the trainer’s brother Harry to land this extended two-mile event.
"She did it nicely," said Dan Skelton. "She would have been out of the handicap in the Summer Hurdle, so I didn't run her in that. She'll go to Newmarket for a fillies' race in three weeks then she'll come back here for the Prelude Hurdle."
