Big spread of buyers for Leading Light’s first crop
The first foals by Classic and Ascot Gold Cup hero Leading Light have found plenty of fanciers at the recent sales of National Hunt young stock.
Timmy Hyde snapped up a colt out of the Azamour mare Keyaza for €27,000 at the Goffs December Sale when offered from Glenspring Farm. The April-born colt was bred by Tom Treacy.
Meanwhile, Louis Kennedy paid €24,000 for a Leading Light colt foal at the Tattersalls Ireland November Sale.
Other buyers included S Bloodstock, Rathmore Stud, Railstown Stud, Oneliner Stables, Monanore Stables, Thorne Farm, Stow Stud, Martin Cullinane, Blackcastle Stud, George Mullins, Distillery Stud, Jamestown House Stud etc.
